Donation Time

Im am having such a wonderful time meeting everyone!

I would love for all of us to get together and start the charity work with our stash yarn to donate to those in need. I need some feedback to a good time that would work for everyone. I was even thinking 2 days a week, rotating the day and evening hours........knit me back!

Grand Opening!

I had the best time meeting folks in Klamath Falls. Folks here are wonderful!!!
I found my home and folks just like myself, "yarn-a-holics" (smile). Yes, thats us, a group of kniters and chrochers that cant stay away from yarn!
Please, come by and say hi! Bring your favorite pattern or item you made to share. I LOVE it all!

This Shoppe will carry many variety of Fantastic Fiber yarns from all over the world and local spinners.


Espresso, Fudge and Truffles will be offered while sitting among others in a cozy atmosphere learning a new technic in many of the available Classes.

Baby Time.....

Well, as you know, when a baby is in the air, everyone becomes "crazy"! I on the other hand took time out and went on a knitting-frenzy (smile), all matching items, and warm too!!!! Enjoy my chopped up puzzle work of pictures, a blanket, hat, and the booties……till next time! Keep Knitting!

Moving On

I cant believe that its been a month sense my last post, very busy and time just got away. I’m in the process of moving my youngest to his new college town. We had about 2 weeks on the road and another week in a half of settling in….and the darn carpet is still not in, but, he did measure today, progress. Oh and forget Direct TV, we’re going cable after the many of hours on the phone and wasted time spent waiting on them. I will NEVER obtain their service or recommend them to anyone!!!! Worst than the tech support on your computer. Stay with the little guy, well worth Mom and Pop style than these big Box store style.

Well with that said, on the positive side I was able to make and send my daughter her knitted hat I mad her while on the road. My other daughter found a real fun style hat while shopping at the great Edmonton Mall in Canada. I looked it over and made a pattern from it and wola, a new hat , for a new year….Happy Birthday my love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Down Pour and more

Oh my, I just have to go outside, a downpour is going on right now…………………so, it was a BLAST!! I know its been raining a-LOT lately, but this is the best! Just something about a good ole down-pour that makes me feel alive and challenged! Like trying to challenge myself with the time I have left until I can unpack and get to my knitting needles again. Yes, I have my bag of yarn and needles in hand. What knit-a-holic doesn’t? Its more the countdown getting things done than the move……OH MY, I think I just saw a flash (not known for this part of the country), yeep, I did because now I hear the thunder. OH FUN! Its been way too long…………..thunder and lightning…..what??? Were did it go? Only once? Well one time better than none (LOL). Okay, back to my packing, 11 more days and I’m on my way! Could it be? YES, Thunder, Again (smile).

Well weekend over and headed to another, no knitting, lots of packing, two more weeks and my yarn will have a new home (smile).

Friday the 13th.....Ahhh, just another day of knitting

Well its Friday and a fun filled weekend is approaching fast. I’ve been busy fighting my sinuses along with the last clean up to the garage……. on to the shed .

Here is something I worked on with the knit machine back a few months ago before my dad passed, he loved Marilyn! Its been a few years sense I used the machine, honestly because of all the detail, I probably could of hand knitted it faster…….well, keep knitting and post your hand made pictures.

Procrastinating

I’m soooo procrastinating…..not sure if its because I’m entering a new path in life and have to let go of the “familiar”past, or it could be the 100 days of straight rain. I may be exaggerating on the days….I’m gonna look it up cause I think I’m pretty close.

I haven’t worked with my yarn or needles for the past few days, (packing) but I’m sneaking a new project in…….smile, knit and release the stress of moving.

P. S. new item now on sale on the website (smile). Also, thanks to my friends at the show, you know who you are, well, 20 Christmas Stocking are now on order…..knit, knit, knit…..and more knitting.

RECAP…. Im missing my dad! I wish he could see his grandson now, I know how proud he would be.
The American Legion boys are headed to Tournament (sunny there). Cant wait to hear/see what happens, they have a web cam we can peek in on, how fun!

As far as my knitting is going, well, one of my patterns I designed worked out well. I was able to read and understand my handwriting, results came out nice, one down 29 more to go.

I do have to put the knitting on hold for about 3 weeks, as my garage sale went great! Next, donate, pack and clean, than the big day, MOVE……. I’ll sneak knitting in as it’s a great stress releaser.

There’s something strange going on here………more rain this summer than the norm. I think we may have had a week, close to two weeks of sun and some of these days were cloudy, complete opposite to the past.

So, why not get out the knit needles and start our winter projects early!! I’m getting together early classes just for this reason. Join me two days a week at the coffee house.

Thought Id procrastinate a little before heading out into this beautiful sunny day, (Seinfeld re-runs playing in the background, never get sick of them, whys that?). We just finished a 9 day straight stretch of rain and I’m now in the mood were I can concentrate on getting the Garage sale items sold/donated. So much “stuff” how did it get this way? Well maybe the answer is in the question? Just didn’t pay attention? Just didn’t get rid of it when I should of? Or is it my impulsiveness that I think I may be able to use it later? Well its later and its all going, and if I happen to need something, well when that time comes we’ll see.

My new Knit idea. Take all my made up patterns I jotted down in scribble form and publish a book, yep, finally going to do it. I hit my goal of 30 of my own original patterns and now I’m going to recap the moment of all the patterns. Ill make them according to my directions as I edit and twig, hopefully I can read my own writing (smile),so stick with me and find out how it works or if you have any input, let me know!!!!
